Common men dream big things, innovative men create big things and ambitious men earn big money. But what do you call a person who does all that at a global level; but always remains unsatisfied? Elon Musk might not look like it, but he is probably the most unsatisfied mind on earth. He is the clearest example of a person who does not know his limits, which is a good thing because it has helped him become the Rockstar of the tech world.

This guy transforms far-fetched thoughts into actual real-life actions, over and over again.  As mortals, we only talk about space, Elon Musk runs SpaceX. We think about improving our brain and memory, Elon Musk starts Neuralink. We talk amongst friends about the hazards of pollution, Elon Musk builds Tesla

Elon Musk resume is filled with so many achievements that it would be hard for anyone to match it in the future. Just like Einstein was to Science, Elon Musk is to Technology. And the crazy thing about Elon Musk is that we are probably not seeing the full impact of his efforts. We would possibly see the complete effect of his pioneering initiatives in the next 50 years.

In his younger years, he was inspired by Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series. While reading it, he was imbibed with the zeal and motivation to think for the civilization as a whole. The impact of his learnings can be clearly seen in his present-day actions, which are aimed at saving environment and finding life on planets far away.

His move to Canada made his journey to the US that much easier. After moving to the US, he settled in Philadelphia and studied physics and economics at University of Pennsylvania.

    Elon Musk Career

    Early Moves

No one can dream about a career that Elon Musk has; even the man himself might not have envisioned what he would go on to achieve. Elon Musk companies list is as long as they come. His first startup was a company that was built from the money invested by angel investors.

Along with his brother, he started Zip2 and headed the board. The company was created on shoestring budget. They only had one computer for work, which was used by Musk for coding the website. The company was a hit. Eventually, Compaq bought it for 307 million dollars and Musk got himself a cool 22 million dollars.

From the money acquired through the deal, Musk founded X.com. In 2001, the company was merged with another company called Confinity and came to be known as PayPal. It became the top money transfer company in the world, and was later acquired by eBay for a whopping 1.5 billion dollars. Elon Musk received 165 million dollars from the sale.

Giant Steps to Mars with SpaceX

Software companies were only the start of something huge in Elon’s life. In the present times, Elon Musk Spacex initiative is what defines the man. After its establishment in 2002, it has become the biggest satellite constellation operator in the whole world.

With SpaceX, Musk’s objective has been to lower space exploration cost; so that humans can frequently visit the planet Mars, learn more about it and make it habitable for human life.

In 2016, Elon Musk has revealed his plans to send cargo ships to Mars in 2022 with the intention of finding water. In the next phase, four more spaceships are planned to be launched in 2024, which will carry humans for the very first time.

Conserving Earth for Future Generations with Tesla

Not only Elon Musk wants to conquer Mars, he also wants to save Earth from excessive human exploitation. Elon Musk Tesla initiative is a testament to his thoughtful nature and love for human life.

Tesla was incorporated by Marc Tarpenning and Martin Eberhard in 2003 but it was later joined by Musk who became the chairman of the organization in 2004. Tesla motors builds electric cars that help stop pollution with their zero-emission performance.

    Other Elon Musk Initiatives

Elon Musk inventions are legendary and unmatched. Although he is the third richest man in the world in 2020 (behind Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates), he is on the path to be the richest when he retires.

Elon Musk has also played crucial roles in companies such as SolarCity, Hyperloop, OpenAI, Neuralink and The Boring Company. Out of these ventures, Elon Musk Neuralink initiative is probably the most ambitious. He wants to put Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the human brain by implanting a chip inside the skull. It would be like an augmentation that will increase the capacity of human mind by boosting memory and allowing humans to use the integrated computing device for performing complex calculations.

    Elon Musk’s Earnings

Elon Musk story is far away from being complete by any stretch of imagination. His hunger and ambition would eventually lead to newer inventions, which will only benefit the human race. While doing all this, he has become the third richest man in the world with a total net worth of 115 billion dollars.
