At the Nifty Feet Dance School, he was learning hip hop and performing really well and got noticed by Lynne Page. At that time, Lynn was working with a famous choreographer named Peter Darling.

Before the play, he received nearly two years of training, in which, he learned about the finer arts of stage performance.

In 2008, Tom made his debut in the show. Later in September, he was selected for the lead role and performed really well on the stage.

His acting and dancing skills received praises from all around and he got an interview on Channel FIVE. It kicked off his career and he even received an offer for a TV show called ‘The Feel Good Factor’.

His growth as an actor was for all to see. Tom even trained five young kids for the musical, which clearly showed how much he has matured in his short career.
